Dear Jimmy, I'm a great fan of British comedy, but your joke about city-planning Frankfurt was in bad taste. Thousands of innocent people died in the bombing raids of WW2, millions more lost their homes. Nowadays this would be considered a war crime. The Nazis invented this type of war, erasing Guernica, then continued with bombing Britain, but this does not make the Allied bombing raids more acceptable, especially as Russia is continuing indiscriminate bombing of civilians in Chechnya, Syria, and Ukraine. Altogether not a topic for jokes. There are plenty of other reasons to joke about Germans...
