This movie is a tiny bit hypocritical about the whole situation. If indeed it was a man, everyone would blame that relationship. But we already have a somewhat similar situation (like in the movie) with Aaron Taylor-Johnson. He was groomed. Even if she turned out to be his wife, this still should not have happened. The story in this movie is beautiful, but not sure how ok this should be. Even I, as a 34 yo woman, would date 26 up. Young people still need to live and go through good AND bad experiences so they can form themselves emotionally. Ofc, I am sure not many agree with me, as many will agree. It is a matter of opinion. At 22-23 you are technically an adult but are we really? Some mature faster than others, yes, but I. would still feel like I would stop their growth somehow. Does it even make sense what I am trying to say? 😅

The ending was so sweet. He waited 5 yrs for her. We need an updated movie to see if they stay together. Love how she is wearing his watch 5 years later.
