My theory is this, they could of cut out bulkheads and welded them to next bulkhead to stop the water cascading and saved the ship until rescue arrived.

The 3rd propeller was not reversed and could not be reversed, it was locked in to the turbine that powered it

They were NOT water tide compartments if water flowed into the next one.

Freaking Brits and their rivets…they even used them on tanks.

Then why did the modern cruise Costa Concordia capsized

@VictorajasharmaGuruaribam

They knew the Titanic was gonna sink. Straight up.
But they ran that marketing fraud hard — telling everybody "God Himself could not sink this ship" just to sell tickets and hype the rich folks into buying in. Pure greed. No real safety checks, warnings ignored on purpose, everything rigged for the disaster while they cashed in on the "unsinkable" lie.
It wasn't some accident. It was fraud dressed up as destiny. Lives lost so the suits could make their money.
Same bullshit they pull today with all their "safe and secure" scams. Wake the hell up.
What "unsinkable" lie are they feeding you right now?

One of the biggest problems with the Titanic was it was rivited together ... rivits on a ship that big and weight is tantamount to being stapled together.

I've never seen the sinking of the titanic presented this way!🎉

How many ships get sunk by icebergs?

@antoniobacic5674

15:53 1914? 1912 was the sinking?

@DiverseFeiten

very few survived

That means the captain made the wrong call. They should’ve collided head2head with iceberg

all that was useless against GOD

Hey y'all it sink because the other Mock GOD he caused that ship to sink

@edwardbright9434

Lot of blame to go around but the captain of the ship is that for as reason. Add to this the fact that he was retiring after this voyage safety should have been an absolute priority. He believed they myth of the unsinkable ship he paid with his life .

Lie.. jp morgan knew what was going to happen..

It wasn’t the ”titanic”that sunk.

What love to see is what would have happened if the much improved sister ship of titanic the Britanic hit the iceberg . Naturally with its bulk heads working and windows closed .

@haroldchase4120
@

You actually got the breakup angle wrong. The ship experienced maximum stress at an angle of around 20° to 25°, not 45°.

Jews sank it. Im done with their greed and no sense for human life.

@atlhawks4200

Ahh yes. Let's say the iron is of poor quality by freezing it with liquid nitrogen to show how brittle it is... In conditions it would never encounter. For a "Scientest" that one seems pretty dumb.

Bring the temperature down to 28-34 degrees, which would be the temperature at the time of impact, and then do your test.

@clonozero

The "direct collision" BS is absurd. The 50k ton titanic, hitting a 2 MILLION ton iceberg at about 25mph would have come to an INSTANT stop. The kinetic energy of impact would have been transferred to the hull and would have cause catastrophic damage. Boilers would have jumped from their mounts since only their weight kept them in place. This would jave caused a rupture of the main steam lines and led to an immediate loss of all power. Titanic would have been unable to contact any help as she would have just vanished. Only her last reported position would be a clue to start looking for her or any survivors. Speaking of, the force of the impact would have been like getting thrown into a wall at 25mph and caused several severe/lethal injuries. The impact would also have bent the keel and hull and breached multiple compartments as the hull crumpled like a beer can. Without power, the interior would be in complete darkness and its likely many compartments would be unable to be closed duento the hull's warp. (Like what happened on Brittanic when she hit a mine). Titanic would have sank very quickly, likely less than 20 minutes and in complete darkness. With most of the passengers asleep and with no interior lights, most wouldnt even make it to the boat deck. Total loss of life would be FAR higher....if any survived at all.

The complete physics? The ship got a hole in the side and it sunk to the bottom of the Ocean. THE END.🤔

@ajcommunicationkid
@

Detailed to a 4th grade level. The two drunken lookouts, one dead asleep and passed out, the other one eye open (or less) saw nothing until the impact. That's the how.

Very good explanation of the sinking.

The biggest question is why Captain Smith.eas running at full speed when icebergs were spotted in the😊 areas!!!!

@georgestone1485

if your gonna have life boats, have enough for everyone.

@leemcmullan

if the compartments were built taller too

@dieseltu1035

Even with this new technologies a cruise ship can still sink… just look at the costa Concordia in 2012 😮

@jasonbailey1166
@

what if they went full reverse when the ship started to sink? would the water still go over the bulkheads? or just more slowly?

Jim Cameron himself would be proud of this video.

If four compartments had flooded instead of five, those people would have survived.
One compartment decided the fate.

@bunio3434
@

So in essence. They were better off ramming bow first into the iceberg than grazing alongside it.

@JohnSmith-n7r
@

'can you tell' and all these questions...a re we 4?
who is this aimed at?
4 year olds, will not watch a titanic documentary, and everyone older as 4 is disgusted to be treated as such.

Do better

4:05 Some experts believe that "reducing engine speed" and ordering "FULL Astern" was a catastrophic mistake. A ship the length of the TITANIC will turn better the greater its forward motion. By stopping the engines and then reversing the propellers there was no longer a strong BURST of water going over the rudder. This limited the ability to turn the TITANIC. Had the order been "Hard to starboard" then remain at Full Ahead, perhaps the TITANIC misses the Iceberg. Perhaps we'll never know?

@jasona9

Really. Still going on about this ship . It’s a grave leave it alone ffs. It’s becoming dull.
