THE REALITY IS A LONG WAY FROM WHAT IS BEING SHOWN IN THIS VIDEO. AND ANTIGRAVITY IS NOT FREE. I tried to install firebase MCP and it defaulted to disabled with an error, so I tried to get the IDE to solve the problem... The reality is that when you set up the Firebase MCP and it tries to authenticate with firebase its error error error error error. Paste the authentication code in and... failure failure failure errror error error... You then get caught in the same old AI error loops with the tool trying fix it and getting nowhere. AND THEN... after endless error looping, the daily AI quota is used and you can't even continue error looping to try to resolve. This isn't vide coding its the same old local development "DLL hell" "config hell" ... That is the reality of AntiGravity.

I used to pay 50€ a month for invoicing and client Portal software (PHP and MySQL and a month ago i decided to build it myself with Antigravity , it took me about 10 hours of work and testing and at the end i had a beautiful invoicing that sends the PDF invoice with email , all automated and much better than the 50€ that i used to pay .

he v0 for frontend then firebase mcp for backend combo is a clever split but that's already two separate things to learn and configure before you've even touched stripe lol. went through a similar setup once and the firebase auth step alone took way longer than expected. been on hercules for this reason mostly, all of that is just bundled from the first prompt. curious how antigravity handles it when the gemini agent makes a mistake mid-build, does it recover cleanly or do you have to start a section over?

Antigravity is now sixth AI most corrupt and fraud tool. They will take your money and won't allow you to even create a simple app. Biggest fraudster in AI Tools world. Never use Antigravity / Sixth AI

the workflow of using v0 to generate the frontend and then passing it to anti gravity to wire up the backend is absolute genius. setting up firebase auth is usually such a massive headache for beginners. whenever i use v0 or cursor to generate a quick ui mockup, i usually just drag the raw files onto tiiny host to test the responsiveness on different devices before i even think about connecting databases or stripe webhooks. seeing how fast this agent handled the full stack deployment makes me want to try building a real saas this weekend
