Grazie Mille. I did your survey when I downloaded the PDF but my situation doesn't fit neatly into a category. I guess it could fall under travelling to Italy or living in Italy but it was without the preparation time you wouod assume either of those would entail. My daughter and I traveled from Canada to Italy in March for one month, back to Canada for 3 weeks, then back again in May because she is getting gene therapy for MLD at the hospital where that treatment began - San Rafaelle. It's not available in Canada as it is extremely rare and the trestment is relatively new and has to be done while children are pre-symptomatic or early symptomatic. My 8 year old was too far along by the time it was diagnosed but because of her diagnosis, we were able to find out my 6 year old had it as well but was already in the early symptomatic phase so we literally found out we had been approved by our Ministry of Health who is paying for it, 2 weeks before we left (and we moved into a downstairs unit of our fourplex in that time!) so I had no time to prepare, am not great at languages to begin with, have ADHD and obviously have my daughters occupying most of my brain space. I've been grateful to be able to just throw on one of your videos to help me pick up a few tips for being able to communicate with some of the hospital staff who speak very little or no Italian, when my sister is in the hospital with my daughter and I'm at the residence and feel like I have some capacity for learning

@kimzeck9827Valentina Karel here i just want to say that I love your teaching method of only focusing on one subject at a time instead of so many other sites that will try to get you as an example memorize 100s of nouns.
@swimgoddess-r1uGreat loved it give me more
@davidclarke1749Thank you Valentina. I just strated studying Italian. Attended a total of 3 hrs class. Thank you for your videos. Excellent teacher. Regards from Australia๐
@lydiadmello6369Hello Valentina, Really appreciate your videos as they are really helpful in my Italian learning journey. Could you make a video about how to use two or more verbs in one phrase?
@neetanagi3819Im studying Italian right now. I was previously studying french. Yes! In Italian, as in French, even irregular verbs are regular in their irregularity. When I realized this, it was like a lightbulb went off and my language skills improved.
@suzannehawkins383You teach so well, I'm following your channel for Italian learning
@HudaQureshi-b4eHow do i get pdf, thank you. I'm glad i bumped into your channel. I'm learning Italian. My first language is Spanish. So far 75% of Italian words have been really easy and similar. The plurals are different in Italian. And conjugations also a bit different. Thank you for this video.
@chola379Wow. What a great video. I will try your methods.
@johngordon7394Loved this video - the strategy is so very helpful! Grazie
@donsicard1144YOU ARE WONDERFUL TEACHER
@esterleinsagea7107I am struggling with 3rd person conjugation
@donalwalshe6825Thanks for the lesson
@john-t1h4qThank you plus grazie๐
@john-t1h4qThe Italian verb 'fare' is derived from the Latin verb 'facere' which is why the first person singular form of the verb is 'faccio'.
@dcissignedonI like the way you teach.
@hidayatshah6953I struggle a lot with conjugations. And with reflexif verbs. Your videos help me a lot. You are the best teacher. Grazie mille
@didierlambertzanger7134Why would Italians need to learn verb conjugations at school? Wouldnโt they just pick it up naturally? What happened before schools were invented?
Great lessons by the way.
Hi I need help I want to learn Italian as first time
@abdisalamabdirahman5718Grazie mille! I didn't realize how much I was struggling with verbs until I watched this and realized that I definitely have been. I love your idea of picking one template verb to use and go from there. This is going to be extremely helpful, and I'm very appreciative for you sharing this! I'm sure a lot of us are! ๐
@sagedakotalmft7763Thank you for these lessons. It will help with conjugations. My problem centers around past and future tenses. I didn't pay attention enough in school 60 years ago.
@deserttrainguy3235Thanks Valentina. This lesson was great.
@HanettegomezGrazie Valentina.๐
@harmeetsingh2340She is so cute ๐
@mikes7391Thanks you Valentina. I'm from Brasil. A Big hold for you
@luizcalderari3895Thanks
@95jmorganA major problem with learning Italian words is that one does not know where to place the stress. There are, of course, basic rules, but unfortunately many words do not follow them. Is there any way to determine where the stress should fall for each word?
@gustavmelinI wonder why do Italian speakers face difficulties in mastering the verb conjugation too despite being native speakers ๐ ?
@themranonymous2006This was so helpful. I trying to learn Italian at my "mature" age and finding it not so easy to remember the rules. This was so helpful!.
I'm definitely going to post the sticky notes! Thank you!
More videos. You are better than Duolingo.
@jimmeh786Love this lesson. Grazie mille professoressa Valentina Stella.
@LisaBrkichThank your your suggestion! Good idea to use sticker to make me repeat it to feel sick ๐
@SolexHsuGrazie Valentina. I've been looking for a video like this for some time now. It makes me feel better knowing that Italians struggle with conjugations as well! Practice makes perfect, as they say!
