I'm a much younger fan, having started watching when I was in elementary and now I'm in college. Having Marissa on the cast now is such a joy to have and sweet older sister vibe that I really like when I watch her in videos. Watching this was comforting, knowing life can go in all sorts of way. Parenthood has always been a on and off thing I've wanted and this was a nice perspective to see, I'm still young and all but theres a comfort in knowing another perspective in life. I wish nothing but the best for Marissa :)

Wow, I'm amazed the rudeness and disrespect to her dad. He's trying to be supportive

— @L0STinNARNIA

Natalie Rotolo - Office Administrator

I have been with my husband for almost 10 years now and we were very young when we got together. I used to want kids so badly and he was definitely iffy about wanting kids but he was still on board with it, he just didn't care if we did or didn't have kids. Then I got diagnosed with EDS and POTS and fibromyalgia and we decided we wouldn't be having kids at all. It was hard to come to terms with but with how my life is now, I could never have a baby. Even with the help of my husband, I absolutely couldn't be caring for a child. Its so mind blowing and Marissa is so strong for wanting to do this on her own !

dad was really struggling to tell that story 😭😭😭😭

@myaharvey296
@

thank you so much for doing this. i got an infertility diagnosis at 36 and after 3 unsuccessful rounds of IUI ended up conceiving on our own (somehow!!). It is such a hard thing to go through and it feels so lonely because no one talks about it. but now i'm here with my beautiful baby and i am so glad more people are talking about it. I'm wishing you the best of luck if/when you decide to grow your family <3

There is also such a lack of discourse about the decline in sperm quality as men age that can also contribute to infertility. It's so often put onto women, and then the lack of support for women's reproductive issues on top of the blame is debilitating. There is just no winning for women in this system unless you have 100s of thousands of dollars at your disposal.

I’m literally in the process of freezing my eggs right now (estimated to do my retrieval in just a few days) and it’s so lovely to watch this series in a time of my life where it feels extremely relevant. I am also not partnered (although I’m trying not to give up hope) and ALSO a Gemini. Lol I don’t feel ready to choose a donor so I’m just doing the egg freezing, but I love seeing other women’s stories and their thoughts behind their decisions. I know this was shot in 2025, but I’ll retroactively say GOOD LUCK, Marissa, and hope that those vibes carry me through the next few days. ❤

I don’t know anything about my own fertility rates, but I’m a single woman who’s probably gonna stay that way, and have been considering having a baby solo now that I’m 31 (almost 32). This is meaning a lot to me 😅💙

As a divorced bi woman in her 30s who has recently realized just how much I want to have kids I cannot thank Marissa enough for sharing this. Thank you so much. For the hope. For the parasocial companionship. For the chance to feel like my grief is shared. I'm rooting for you.

I love her parents

@

the way i actually went through this just last year

docs said to try for a whole year first tho, not 6months

was able to conceive after a few rounds of timed intercourse and then a few of iui...
each period showing up more devastating than the last....

but i'm now watching this with my 2wk old in my arms and just crying and wishing you (and everyone else going through this) the best😭💕

@

Thank you so much for sharing this story. I’ve never been interested in having kids but I feel it’s so important to understand how stuff like this works because it’s NOT talked about! I hope throughout the series we see positive experiences and outcomes for you.

@SunshineGator
@

I didn’t make it past the first test 😅 had an extremely low follicle/egg count and was told IVF wasn’t an option. For anyone else watching with the same results, we ended up conceiving naturally after 3.5 years. There is hope

I always wanted to have kids. Always there was never a question and my plan was if I wasn’t in a good relationship with someone who would be a good coparent and it hadn’t happened by 35 I would do what Marissa is doing and do it on my own provided I was financially stable. I was almost there and on track financially when my life totally and completely was altered and now I’m disabled and can’t take care of myself much less raise a kid. Right when I was starting to plan like Marissa. I had 6 months if I wanted to freeze my eggs or I would lose coverage to do so and I didn’t know if I would get better as I didn’t know what was wrong. I didn’t because the hormones would have made me worse and I’m glad I didn’t put my body through that because I have gotten worse not better. But this is a view into another life. Thank you Marissa for sharing and thank you try guys for approving!

this might be my favorite series the try guys have done so far. It’s so eye opening and vulnerable ❤

What was biology's thought process to have a million eggs as a baby and then to lose 50% before can have a child?

@AJ-ht3kf
@

How much of an asshole in life do you have to be to FINALLY want to give back to people AFTER money doesn't make you happy BECAUSE you have SO MUCH? People exist who GIVE when they have NOTHING! Besides, to give simply to make yourself feel better is selfish.

@AJ-ht3kf
@

Look at the world and society around you?!!! Look!!! How is this any place that is good and safe for a child??!! And what kind of horrific future will that child have??!! How beyond stupid and selfish of you!
