As if Americans in cox bazar are sitting like morons and will allow Bangladesh to pull this stunt. This new corridor announcement is performative geopolitics with no substance. Washington can squeeze Bangladesh very easily and bleed them dry. The whole objective was for Washington to establish presence through friendly government in Myanmar, which I believe in due course will happen and establish presence on border of China directly. They are actively supporting groups that counter China and its allied groups in Myanmar.

Question is not just which is a better option, but how soon we take a decisive step to join the 6th Gen program! The longer we postpone the investment, higher it is going to cost us in future, be it purchase cost or the cost of falling behind in the race to be a 6th Gen Air Force! Jai Hind ❤

China is more of gimmick ...less of realities, lacks quality in defence items. They are only fast in conversion because of a communist regime

Astra MK3 is what we should focus for future rafales not the meteor, GCAP itself is closed now mostly the work is shared well and they are in advanced stages where work on critical technologies are going good unless funding issue comes, so you won't learn anything in GCAP but yes if we just want 6th generation jet with local production and some tot ( mostly no critical technology will be given ) then GCAP is good, without working on those technologies even tot can't help us tbh and nobody is gonna give it anyway as there is no space for a 4th partner in GCAP, amca mk2 is more than enough tbh like if our 6th gets delayed by 20 years also it's fine but focus on amca mk2 and then scale it up to a 6th generation jet .

5:17 Window for GCAP participation closed in 2023. Now we can join only as observer. And France is to be blamed for FCAS fiasco.. they are very unreliable

The gap of 5 and 6 gen shall be filled by Gcap.
