@MedBites-7I am Diabetes RN and some information is wrong. We don’t use SC insulin for treatment of DKA. We use regular insulin infusion through IV as we need time to close the anion gap. Please correct this.
@annetted5435T2D results from Insulin Resistance where pancreas will secrete more Insulin to overcome Insulin Resistance. So there will be hyperinsulinemia. In the very late stage pancreatic beta cells may get exhausted leading to Insulin deficiency.
