Als Neal Young Fan kann ich nur sagen, dieses Akustikkonzert aus dem Jahr 1992 ist eine absolute Perle! Seine Stimme ist noch in sehr gutem Zustand und hat noch nicht gelitten, wie in den letzten Jahren. Neben der sogen. Harvesttrilogie, also den Alben Harvest, Harvest Moon und dem Konzertfilm Heart of Gold bzw. dem inhaltlich zum Teil entsprechenden Album Prairie Wind, ist dieses Konzert Bestandteil seiner phänomenalen Akustik Ära. Für Nicht-Insider: Neal Young hat mehrere Facetten. Neben seinen Akustik-Titeln hat er auch einen großen Anteil von rockigen Titeln, die er jeweils mit ausgewählten Begleitmusikern darbietet. Einige Titel interpretiert er sowohl akustisch als auch rockig. Dieses Meisterstück eines Akustikkonzertes gehört zum Feinsten. Man muss es einfach gesehen bzw. gehört haben! Kleines Manko: die minderwertige Bildqualität. Im Jahr 2026 könnte man eigentlich erwarten, dass dieses Konzert, von wem auch immer, digital bereinigt und qualitativ sauber zu bekommen sein müsste. I went to this show, but in NYC - I was all into his blackie electric at the time, and was disappointed that it was a solo acoustic show, although it was great, I would kill to relive that night without my rock-out expectations!
