And I had the Hawaii voucher before I landed here - I just needed to find a landlord willing to work with me.

So at least when I initially got my voucher I was already moved in after 2 years being at that apartment so I didn’t have to search for another apartment - like I did when I ported to Hawaii.
@eloisebanting9501I’ve explained this ad nauseum: I relied on shelter services for a year and a half. I got my Fairfax 24 month subsidy for an apartment in the area after a year of shelter services and moved into Fairfax one bedroom 6 months later. 24 month cert goes into effect on move in. That program helped me get my voucher after 24 months in my apartment.. and which I have anywhere in the nation for as long as I need. 2 years go by, get my voucher - have to stay in Fairfax for another year with voucher and then I can port my voucher anywhere in the nation for as long as I need. I’m making it seem straightforward and easy, but no it’s really really hard, rigorous and strict so.
@eloisebanting9501But anything could happen and maybe prove me wrong but that’s my 2 cents. Because I’m sure there are hardworking families who could use some help, as always.
@eloisebanting9501Well I don’t think Diamondhead homes would get section 8 because that area and those homes aren’t designated to the low income.
@eloisebanting9501Well the cottage space is beautiful and just a studio - I think once it’s fixed up with water and electric, cleaned - decorated and furnished it’s a perfect studio space, but do I really wanna be living with that banshee on the property? No. And the current space I have is better and a more fun location. Scored in the Knick of time.
@eloisebanting9501Would a home in Diamondhead even get section 8? So at the property I said I’d rent the cottage once it’s fixed up (it’s a studio) and caseworker was like sure I need more info.. and you know, Clay yelling and taking his time and then I learn it’s family property or something? Idk.. so I went to the hostel and then finally got my place.
@eloisebanting9501Inspection is really stressful as well once you find a place.
@eloisebanting9501It’s like let’s make the best use of our time here, because Clay’s ignorance about the entire process is wasting everyone’s.
@eloisebanting9501Their reason for sourcing section 8 is confusing to me.
@eloisebanting9501Well Clay’s brother or “brother” is definitely not gonna qualify for section 8. I don’t know Clay’s financial situation, but I can imagine unstable, but endowments aside, the home isn’t gonna pass section 8 and I doubt he’d pass as a section 8 landlord.
@eloisebanting9501I see why the process is hard for some reasons, and I see why it shouldn’t be for other reasons.. it’s like a dilemma of the ages when it comes to housing security…
@eloisebanting9501Well my process was really rigorous and long and arduous but I finally got what I was looking for
@eloisebanting9501And on the mainland, what people weren’t understanding is that when I didn’t re-new my lease in Fairfax, I was in the process of porting my subsidy to Hawaii which was like 6 weeks. Got the Hawaii voucher - now it’s in effect I have 3 months to get a space in Hawaii - need to be there ASAP. Fairfax voucher no more, so it was very upsetting to me that people’s judgments and criticism would prolong the process of my getting an apartment in Hawaii before deadline.
@eloisebanting9501And yes the process is very rigorous and complicated - no cutting corners which Clay was doing.
@eloisebanting9501I already had it and if he’s searching for it, um is he overlooking the most basic aspect of the process by starting an application for section 8?
@eloisebanting9501What clay the host did not understand - I wasn’t in the process of applying for section 8 - I already had it when I moved here and my packet became valid for Hawaii - when I got here, I was in the process of finding a landlord that would accept me and I had 3 months to find one.
@eloisebanting9501And the host has a backing from his tycoon brother or brother in law - and I feel like they’re preying on section 8 holders and I’m like you guys are oblivious. And with the host, he gets agitated when you say anything..
@eloisebanting9501Well the home in Diamondhead I think is beautiful - and love the view and location - it was just run down by squatters and now has an.. interesting.. host.. like, what are you expecting the space to reflect?
@eloisebanting9501Yes it was extremely stressful when I landed - but relief with my apartment and work. Now… we wait. Kidding, tryna make things happen like a boss 🌺🌸 that’s why it’s important to live and travel elsewhere - I don’t think I could handle that move in my 20’s but at least I have experience in major cities like DC and Manhattan. Can you think of moments in life that seemed impossible, but then down the road, you’re like at least those times served me well for current challenges and other ones I’ll face?
@eloisebanting9501I didn’t complain about it I’m like that’s fair. Yeah and I needed a job anyway - at least I found something.
@eloisebanting9501I paid them. And then I went to the luxury run down bungalow in diamond head - then the hostel - then my apartment. Phew 😅
@eloisebanting9501“You can stay for free” host said.(who I’m still friends with)
“Landladies won’t mind” host said.
“I’m never here” host said.
(Host leaves. Baited with breakfast by landladies. “You owe us $420 by Saturday” they said. Jfc $420 by Saturday? I’m like okay. Scrambling… they gangstaAF)
Anyways, the reason I chose the current club I work at is because.. I looked online and it was the earliest club open compared to all the other ones and I needed work like that hour, and I had rent to pay on the Saturday… 😅
@eloisebanting9501Is it in the club, or not? And if not, where and how can I learn to thrive? If yes, how can I make the best of it, despite judgment and stereotypes about the pipeline to “the dungeon”? 😂
@eloisebanting9501Omg I know what the criticism is “tell that to an Epstein survivor” I mean, exactly. My hope is that they never have to fall into a pattern where their autonomy is threatened again and that (and this is important) that they received some sort of federal compensation so they can survive independently without having to go down a road that robs their livelihood. My body, my choice. My body… not your choice. Point is: am I following a sustainable path that will secure my self sufficiency and survival? If you see red flags call for boundaries 🚨
@eloisebanting9501Yes the club is kinda risky but it’s not that bad if you have good management. Not for everyone, that’s for sure.
@eloisebanting9501Well(no not encouraging anyone to do anything they don’t wanna do but setting an example).. Alex and Olivia would do really well at the club - why do I say that? Not just because of their beauty, but look at what they bring to the table and how they can connect with guests? Some may end up on Alex’s podcast or ..have been on and … the club is a unique experience when it’s your office because you can kinda work on your craft, whatever it is when it’s slow, and then you can network with an array of people when it’s busy and make money with a relatively good workout. #justMakeSureYouAheadOfTheGame
@eloisebanting9501You’d be surprised how many people want those dancer jobs. They think it’s easy money but proof is in the actual grind. 😅 (way more stress free in aloha)
@eloisebanting9501Well early 20’s I was lucky enough to get a certain attn through connections in New York but I’m like okay now I need to get paid - and you know, nada from the patriarchy or at least bread crumbs. So odd jobs and temp work, whatever.. and then I’m like omfg this is ridiculous and a bartender friend got me a dancer job in DC - at a place he used to manage at. They automatically put me on the schedule and the rest is history.
@eloisebanting9501Her mom I think campaigned in Virginia. Small world. I’m in Hawaii now, so Im probably gonna get into local politics here, too 😂🌺🌸
@eloisebanting9501Well when I started dancing, it’s like I’m dealing with the same BS as a woman anyway and nothing’s going further - and I’m like I might actually network and get paid for this sh*t so yeah - and my longest career path has been a club dancer, so far. Breaking stereotypes, one set at a time. So yeah if you got it - flaunt it. Maybe via Internal appeal, external appeal - little bit of both - making a statement is what you’re here for, no matter how you serve the world 🌺🌸
@eloisebanting9501And then also something curious to talk about when Olivia was really blunt and open about using her beauty to get ahead. I mean, essentially she’s putting her instrument to good use while she’s on this planet and if that’s your money it’s like … get it. Anyone - whatever makes you charismatic, put your appeal to good use, with aloha 🌺🌸
@eloisebanting9501Wilde’s personal stuff aside, love how she’s blossoming into a new career chapter by directing. In the boss’ seat, as always - but fun to get outside of one’s comfort zone ..media and storytelling is clearly your thing - other parts of the world you wanna conquer? and your mom does local politics, would you ever consider running? If not, to all those passionate canvassers out there and passionate politicians, what advice would you give up and comers who wanna see local and hopefully national change to keep our nation feminist AF?
@eloisebanting9501Yes love Olivia Wilde watched the entire interview. I definitely had her back when she was “served” like that I was like damn - and then on top of the comments in the car? It’s like he’s really giving the cold shoulder. Yeah I’m not fully believing sudeikis’ story about not knowing about the serving when he was that icy in the car, among other moments I’m sure.
@eloisebanting9501She probably could’ve done girl
With the pearl earring at the recent met gala - cooper would’ve done a really extra like tomboy take or something..
(As in the painting..)
@eloisebanting9501This is pro feminist and not a dis but …does Alex cooper remind you of the girl with the pearl earring? Now, she’s a fellow boss in media if I ever saw one, too 🌺🌸 #beautyandbrains
@eloisebanting9501Olivia Wilde made a new fan!
@candylambsThere is "someone" deleting the comments. Almost half the people here are giving dislike. And with the fact that the majority of heterosexual men don't even know this channel.
@followmeto2512Love her for 13.Love her more as a director .
@GLGL5201:22- Obviously I don't know these people. But, I can say with about 95% assurance that the ex had nothing to with Olivia being served papers on stage. I doubt he even know when they would be served, much less where. The people who serve papers get paid cash money from $100-150 on average. And if it's a big deal or especially celebrity related, they get paid $1000 and more. Court servers will do whatever it takes to serve people, because their pay literally depends on it. And this was going to be a big pay day for the server. It sucks that it happened, because it wasn't necessary. But knowing how it works, I truly don't believe the ex had any part in it. And I hope, and it seems that they've made peace with each other and are co parenting very well together.
