Can we visit there in November?
Puglia is located in Italy's southern-eastern region, an area known for its abundant countryside, olive trees and a gentler pace of life. It is famous for its olive oil production, producing over 40% of Italy's and 12% of the world's oil! Adriatic and Ionian seas with crystal-clear waters are making this place a perfect destination for summer holidays not only for water sports lovers. The history of the region is very rich and at every corner you can find reminders of the past. Puglia is also known for its tasty Mediterranean cuisine and local wine - there are variety of must-taste regional specialities that you can find only there!
In our video we show destinations that are easily reachable by public transport from Bari. You don't need to rent a car here to explore the region!
Hello, i am travelling to Bari this month and i have exactly only 3 days. Do you think I can do first day Bari half day and the afternoon Alberobello, then second day Polignano a mare in the morning and in the afternoon Monopoli and third day Matera? Do you think this is possible and a good plan or not recommended one?
We will show you 5 cities:
- Bari - capital of the region, famous for its Basilica, Cathedral, Castle, Seaside Promenade, picturesque Old Town, theaters... It has also some nice public and private beaches and is well-connected with whole region by public transport
Hello! Nice videos! Tks for sharing it. We rent 2 cars because we are in a family with 6 people including my parents. What do you think about it?
- Polignano a Mare - shining gem of the coast of Valle dβItria, perched atop a steep limestone cliff above the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic with incredible beach and Old Town with many sea-viewpoints
- Monopoli - town of many sandy beaches, picturesque old fishing port and wonderful Cathedral. It's less touristic and more authentic
Hello, did you take bus from Bari to Alberobello?
- Alberobello - placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, one of the prettiest cities in Italy, full of cone-shaped houses called trulli which are its main attraction
- Locorotondo - calm small town, where you can wander around the labyrinth of charming streets, full of white houses and lush vegetation. It's located on a hill with a landscape of the whole area
