This song perfectly describes how I'm doing this year. I have the weight of the world on my shoulders because I'm trying to find a permanent place to stay, a good paying job, hell, even a partner eventually. So far though, all I've got is just rock bottom. However, this song gives me hope I can get through this, I've cried myself to sleep listening to this, praying and hoping it gets better for me.

I had CPS involvement and homelessness all happen in the span of a couple months. Spent several months homeless with my family. Finally got a good job, and thought things were looking up until my car caught fire on the side of the road and then lost my job two weeks later.
These last 2 years have just been hit after hit, and I haven't stopped getting out there and looking for some good news, but I just cant seem to find it.

@CarleeDecker-e9nI had quit all drugs... bear in mind, i quit over 30 drugs, i quit porn, lost my marriage, wasnt there for her in her hardest time, and I was sober a while, then I drifted to alcohol. Still thought I was stronger. Then came coke. Then came ecstasy. Then came porn, self harm and suicidal ideation. Theres so much more, but i suppose its enough to make a point.
You are not alone. Find someone you trust, and get it out.

Does everyone get what the good news is? This is christian and good news is Jesus died for your sins. He's basically saying he just needs to be reminded of the good news. Wish somebody told me living this life would be lonely (God breaks you free from people not in his plans for you), tryna get away from the old me. And when he talks about still here sipping this cold truth (it means to be only one foot in and not fully in).
