Star Trek TNG HD Ambient Engine Noise (Idling for 12 hrs in 1080p)

Does anyone know why this stops a deep vibration in my left ear? It drives me insane until I use this. I have to use it for a while to stop the vibration coming back when I turn it off. But it does help. I don't get why though.

I was looking for some ambient noise for the background...its 12:35 in Scotland 10/06/26 and I am about to play a drum solo to this on my yamaha dt express techno kit. Wish me luck :)

If its ONLY 12 hours, How come I been listening to it for like 36 hours?? 🤨 Not sure if time spent sleeping counts though, I tried looking in the rule book but couldn't find it. 🙆‍♂️ I expected it to be over when I woke up, BUT it was still going, I didnt want to leave and miss anything so I just been riding it out. Spent most of the shift recalibrating the matter reclamation buffer in Ten Forward. The protein resequencer keeps spiking past tolerance, converting half the waste slurry into inert lattice instead of usable base material. Commander La Forge’s team said it’s a harmonics bleed from the new warp coil alignment, so until Engineering stabilizes the plasma manifolds, I’m running manual reclamation cycles every two hours. Smells worse than it sounds.

Half the staff were whispering about a visitor in sickba. I guess it's some kind of probe that made contact with the captain’s mind. Whatever that means, it’s above my clearance. All I know is the power draw from that thing keeps tripping my replicator queue, and now I’m short three trays of synthsteak for gamma shift.

I’ll re-run the buffer diagnostics tomorrow, assuming we’re still in normal space by then. End log.

After a long shift i wandered into the holodeck. I was tired so i programmed it to look like my bedroom on earth. In the middle of the night i had a dream where i was actually in my house on earth. Everything was as i remembered it, except the garage which was a holodeck. So i programmed it to look like an enterprise crew quarter. I heard this engine noise so i went to sleep. When i awoke i was in the same crew quarter, but wasnt sure if i was on the enterprise or earth. Upon leaving the quarters i found i was on the enterprise.
After a walk i came to the transporter room. I programmed it to send me down to my house on earth. The next thing i saw was the holodeck that looked like the same crew quarter from before. After leaving the room i was back in my house. For some reason i was still tired so i went to my bedroom, and put on this video which put me to sleep. When i awoke i was on the bridge of the enterprise, but i was the only one there.
I went into a turbolift to go back to my duty in engineering, but when the doors opened i found myself in someone elses house on earth. Suddenly i was greeted by Lieutenant Barclay. He says he was in the holodeck where he programmed his house on earth. But his bathroom was another holodeck. I wondered how it was possible to have a holodeck inside a holodeck. My curiosity got the better of me so i went in. I programmed it to be a turbolift. I asked the computer to take me to engineering but she said no such place existed. I asked her where i was and she responded “the bathroom”. However it looked just like a turbolift. I asked her what year it was and she replied “2025”. I asked hows it possible to have 24th century technology in 2025.
She said the borg time travelled to this time on earth and created a holodeck to recreate the enterprise so they could assimilate it. Just then a borg drone entered my turbolift and stuck tubules in my neck. I passed out, and when i awoke i was back in the crew quarter from before. However now i was a borg. I had this urge to go to my borg cube and be with the hive. I left the quarters and ended up at the transporter. I set it to beam me to the cube. After the transport i appeared in the cube. However i felt home sick. So i went to the borgs holodeck and programmed it to be my house on earth. I went to my bedroom and upon entering i heard this engine noise humming. It made me tired so i laid down and went to sleep. The end.

I have been hailing the ship for 11 years now with no response! Captain, if you can read this then get me off this planet NOW!
