He is lying about "HTTPS already protects you"
The ISP will know which IP you are connecting to, sometimes it will be a single IP website, which means they know the website
And DNS are not encrypted by default, depending on the browser
And there might be host headers in the IP request, I don't remember

Additionally, we'll cover the biggest threat to your online security that no piece of software can fix - and what you can do to deal with it.
Much of what you say is true but if you use a hotspot at a hotel or an airport or a coffee shop without a decent vpn you will get hacked no matter what security software you have.

@B_Y_Z_1_N_E42From my perspective, I trust Mullvad a hell of a lot more with my privacy than I do the likes of Verizon or Comcast.
I don't want to be profiled or have any data collected about me by my ISP, so I make sure I never use the internet without going through a VPN tunnel to a provider that I trust.

@LokoDeri3The United States only allows VPNs who comply with chosen aspects of the DCMA. Every VPN on an App Store is completely full of crap and only truly offers an easier online experience and often better quality than your regular search engine results including in video definition. I guess this sales gimmick is their gift for betraying their customers.
@CampingWithCatsI don't use my VPN for security. I use things like common sense, strong, unique passwords for each account and MFA whenever possible. VPN is for privacy.
@portia1337Another reason to have a VPN: I use a bonded VPN to make my internet with two ISP's redundant. If one goes out the second picks up automagically.

That Is what VPNs were developed for in the first place. The original idea was never to use a VPN to Tunnel Internet Traffic to the Internet but rather to a private network

@TwistednbcMost tech companies already take/steal your data for free, but paying a company to steal your data is crazy. Unless the vpn code is open source, it probably will get and maybe sell your data. Like is said in the video, you need to trust them they tell the truth.
