fortnite was goated till chapter 2 season 8 after that it just kept going down, and i like the og arena mode than this ranked unreal bs since there was a bus fare and a possibility to go down in ranks.

fortnite needs to have a rocket league styled rank system,im not trying to glaze rl here but their rank system is really good and its hard enough to rank up so that people have something to play for and theres seadon rewards and stuff. Ranking up in fortnite is just too easy and the rewards arent good at all like we need some ranked rewards skins stuff lile that and the ranks themselves need to be reworked. Instead of unreal as the highest rank there should be unreal then top 500 rank which gives exclusive rewards at the end of the season like vbucks skins stuff like that and there should be a divison system and an mmr system and ofcourse they should fix the lootpool and all that but if they did the things i stated for ranked it would definetly be revived

Fortnite full of cheaters. Infected. Apex Legends has this problem. People complained for years and EA company denied for years that they had a cheating problem, while milking money for Battle Pass and skins, until the players dropped from Average 600.000 to average 150.000 players and then they announced that more than 40% of Apex/Master ranked were cheaters and they banned them. Too late. They bought servers with bots from Russia/China to simulate a "full Lobby" and paid millions $ to youtubers and fake reviews and reddit/forums to promote the game - too late. EA sold to Arabs. Fornite is the same - Unreal ranked - full of AIM, WALL, DMG BOOST. Cheaters everywhere.

It is also way too easy to reach the top ranks, other games like Counter-Stike, League, or Valorant have a much harder rank up system. Often even if I die off spawn I don't lose enough to counter the 20 to 30% that I could gain from winning or just placing high.

Shouldn't call it RANKED when the playing field isn't fair. NA West coast players have been forced to play on Central servers for a long time now. That's an extra 40-60 ping for me. That's across all modes now. Why isn't anyone talking about this?

I really enjoy fortnite gameplay but I will never play ranked because something I learned from overwatch is that as soon as I start taking games too seriously they stop being fun and I eventually abandon them

I wish that battle royale would be with 20-30 people and map would last around 15 minutes but preferably less.

arena was so good. was actually rewarding making it to the top 10 and stuff, also it took a long time to make champions league or whatever its called. goated times

No one wants to mention it but one of the biggest flaws of ranked is that it doesn't award placement. In arena (until chapter 2, season 6) the point system punishes you for dying off spawn or getting 1 random elim and dying early in the game, it awarded placement, there was an incentive to play less aggressively and therefore the games were closer to the tournament experience (the loot pool is also a big factor, yeah). There were semi-stacked late games, mostly the team game modes, the map wasn't half empty after the early game. Now there is really no point in playing ranked BR, as it was mentioned in the video, creative and ranked reload are the same thing but better and if you play at a higher level - scrims.

the only reason i play ranked is to play battle royale with real players. but, even now, im in queue, and its been 7 minutes with no game. the bots in any game mode ruin everything for me. there IS skill base match making, so, why dont they use that to determine the required amount of bots they should fill you in. all my games have over 70% of the players actual bots. they add nothing to the experience, every fight is meaningless, every kill is meaningless, they are not even good for refreshes, cuz why would you need a refresh if you only find these damned bots

There are too many unreals they need to do what game like valorant do they need to add a rank above unreal that is like top 500 players because unreal dosent even feel rewarding

Nothing beat the first ranked season where you only needed 300 points to get the highest rank every endgame had at least 30 people alive and the game was laggy at at the end.
