@AnelisesaThis is just my opinion, and it comes from a decade of meditating and practicing Pennyland activation, and Iβve gotten there before I felt the crack in my head and everything

But I also realized that that is the wide path to destruction. If itβs devoid of Christ, Christ is the narrow way when weβre meditating. We must not forget that Jesus is teachings are not archetype Teachings as if weβre gonna reduce him to a monk we are to anchor herself directly to him that he died three days later, took on our sins and overcame death, and came back and resurrected
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.β β Matthew 6:22 (KJV)
I believe that having a βsingle eyeβ means living with an undivided focus on Jesus through prayer, vigilance, and communion with God. It is a state of oneness where the mind is not divided by competing desires or influences. While moments of prayer and meditation are important, this focus should also continue throughout our daily lives.
Our subconscious mind is constantly absorbing information, even when our conscious mind is unaware of it. It continually processes what we repeatedly think about, believe, and dwell on. That is why Jesus repeatedly warned us to be vigilant, to watch and pray, and to stay on the narrow path rather than the broad path that leads to destruction.
When teaching the words of Christ, I believe it is essential to emphasize that our prayers and spiritual lives must remain anchored in Jesus. Simply seeking spiritual experiences or asking the universe for things without Christ may seem beneficial in the short term, but I believe the only path that leads to eternal life is through Jesus Himself. His teachings are inseparable from His identity. He is not merely an archetype or moral example to imitate while disregarding His name; He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
For example, many forms of Eastern meditation appear harmless. They may produce temporary peace, clarity, or emotional benefits, but the greater question is: where does your soul ultimately stand? I believe that any spiritual practice disconnected from Christ risks leading a person onto the broad path rather than the narrow one that Jesus described.
As we pray and remain vigilant throughout the day, we continually train our minds to focus on Christ. I believe this focus influences both our subconscious processes and the way our minds perceive the world. What we repeatedly think about shapes our attention, our decisions, and ultimately our lives. In neuroscience, this is often associated with the reticular activating system, which helps determine what our minds notice and prioritize. Through neuroplasticity, our repeated thoughts strengthen neural pathways, reinforcing the patterns we continually practice.
This principle reflects a truth recognized by many thinkers throughout history. Gandhi said that we become the sum of our thoughts. RenΓ© Descartes famously wrote, βI think, therefore I am.β Scripture likewise teaches, βAsk, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto youβ (Matthew 7:7). I believe these ideas ultimately find their fullest meaning when they are centered on Christ rather than on self.
The subconscious mind does not naturally distinguish between good and evil; it faithfully reinforces whatever it is consistently given. If we continually feed it fear, bitterness, lust, or evil, those patterns become stronger. If we continually fill it with truth, righteousness, prayer, and the Word of God, those patterns likewise become strengthened. Our minds are shaped by what we repeatedly allow to enter them.
I also believe the pineal gland, as a single structure located near the center of the brain rather than within either hemisphere, may play a role in the relationship between conscious awareness and subconscious processing. While this remains a matter of personal belief rather than established scientific fact, I find it interesting that this central structure may participate in the way our attention, awareness, and spiritual focus interact.
Ultimately, I believe Jesusβ command to have a βsingle eyeβ is a call to undivided devotion. When our hearts, minds, prayers, and attention remain fixed on Him, our whole being is filled with light. I used to meditate, and it seemed so innocent. I wasnβt meditating on the Word of Christ or believing that He died and, three days later, overcame death. It felt good in the short run.
I believe that praying and meditating can be one and the same. The question is: what are you praying on, and what are you meditating on?
When you meditate, try guided meditation centered on the words and teachings of Jesus Christ. Keep your focus on your βsingle eyeββremaining centered and anchored in Christβso that your heart and mind stay on the narrow path rather than the broad path that leads to destruction.
For me, the object of meditation matters more than the practice itself. Whatever we continually focus on shapes our thoughts, influences our hearts, and directs the course of our lives. That is why I choose to keep my mind anchored in Jesus Christ.
Going back to I believe it was Romans. I forget the numbers, but it talks about be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Donβt conform to society. I believe that literally is talking about why are your mind outside of the Temptations of society which also parallels this
So in summary, this video is correct but these are more than just teachings on what to do, but theyβre teaching on what to do and who to follow vigilantly they must go together
