@1mag1L-vmtPeople often say “Americans don’t know anything about Europe.” And to that, I’d like to say “Europeans know nothing about America.” They think they do because they lump all of our states into “America.” Truth is, each state is basically its own country. Each state differs GREATLY on culture, food, accent, popular phrases/ words, laws, and state constitutions. The laws alone between each state change drastically! Esp when comparing Republican and Democratic states. Even the animals in the U.S are not found in every state. For example, you’ll find an alligator in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, etc. But you won’t find one in Philadelphia, Ohio, New Jersey. And let’s not forget about the weather! Now yes, the states experiences seasons but some more drastically than others. Winters in northern states are much colder and experience snow. Plus varies states experience hurricanes (Like Florida) tornados (Oklahoma), drought (like Nevada), or earthquakes (like California). These of course are only a few things how each state is like its own country…
