Another comment ima leave, from my speculation, in this video abel is just DRUGGED OUT, he cant move properly, he's falling and sleeping in random places, needles coming out of his face to show use of syringes to insert drugs, and he's ust tweaking out, not to mention the video is just dizzy-ing, everything in the video is confusing to look at, the party, what hes oding in it, the black clothed people representing fame and demonic theology, the lights being blurry to an extent like its the sun, everything, i think its to express his pure confusion and terror, but theres one part in the video thats not confusing and disorienting to look at, the part where he sees and goes to tomorrow, the big bright thing that he saw outside, the only thing that keeps him going without the terror, in my interpretation theres two shots, one where runs into the light, and the one where hes trying to find the light, the part where hes trying to find the light is the weeknd dying, the persona just dead, and the shot where he runs towards the sunlight is abel himself going into purgatory, tomorrow even, he goes to tomorrow while the persona of the weeknd dies in the party and in the middle of the dessert that goes to las vegas (snowchild video) in this video the persona dosent make it to las vegas symbolizing the loop being broken, and what about the itehr shot where he runs towards the light, theyre two different desserts, the death of the persona is on a normal dessert, while the one abel goes to is different, it looks scifi, looks like from another planet, abel goes into the light and to one of dawn fm's videos he enters purgatory with a big light being the doorway, the same one he entered in

I envisioned the most original visual concept for this song would've been him getting thrown out to the curb and laying down on the pavement, slowly bleeding out while the camera pans upwards from a birds eye view.

While I understand why he went with this concept, I felt it was very generic & bland.

Bleeding out on the sidewalks only to have his blood flow recovered back in his body, as he finally gotten the strength to get up & leave would've been iconic, since it's not only visually complimenting the lyrics but also an easter egg throwback to the song "Sidewalks" when he mentioned it saved his life.

That would've hit on so many astronomical levels. 🎯🔥👌🏾💯
