i know this was 3 years ago and you’ve probably finished uni now, but i’m starting in september (moving in in literally 4 weeks help) and i have social anxiety too so that part really worries me, especially when everyone else will be going out every night and stuff 😭

Know that you will likely not have friends. I haven't had any for the past three years. If you do make friends, thats a super rare win.
@HanesAnimatesExpand your circle of friends by joining societies, clubs in Uni….or even gym….sharing same interest is definitely a good way to meet more people….
@loyckfionai know i’m quite late to this so i might not get a reply, but i’m due to start uni in september. i’m autistic so i really relate to the social anxiety but i’m really worried about the noise/partying at uni. it’s just not something i can deal with and i get super overwhelmed and stop functioning. is there a way to overcome this?
