Yall want good movies? my cousin is 32 and has been making movies since he was 7. he wont publish or make it out into the public because he said that he got rejected by his crushes. he has crush models like Miranda Kerr, etc and wants to marry beautiful models like them but because he has spent all of his life just doing movie films and video games, he didnt get the opportunity to focus on himself. he says his movie films and video games were going to change the world but getting rejected by his crushes and not getting to be with his models felt like a punishment to him. he is working out and lifting but became very weary and exhausted. Yall did this to yourself. he said that he wont bring his movies and games to reality until he gets his girl. he wont let your kids and future generation have any inspiration and influence. Sorry for bad grammar. im his cousin, one of the animator for his movies and video games.

When you use practical effects and actors and actresses can act to real thing around them, it makes it look more realistic. They had it spot on in the 90/00s, where they used only a bit of CGI here and there, mIxed in with Practical effects and VFX. Now it's over use of CGI and some of the CGI from movies only 5 years ago look bad already. CGI from 2000s looks better than most movies today, look at Matrix, Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, Dark Knight Trilogy, Avatar, Transformers, Pirates Caribbean etc. I give you a great example, I watched Creed 2 the other night, it was the first time watching it since I watched it at the cinema when it was released. The last fight was ridiculous, it looks like a ps4 boxing game, the cgi in that fight looks terrible. Yet I will watch Rocky from the 70s and them fights look real because they are actually standing there playing out a real fight. You watch Terminator 1 and 2, Alien, Aliens, Back To The Future Trilogy, Matrix, LOTR Trilogy, they don't make movies that good anymore.



Look at Van Damme, Stallone, Arnie, Bruce Willis and all them great action movies, we were spoilt but again you don't see them movies anymore. Honestly just think, they gave us Die Hard Movies, Terminator Movies, Rambo Movies, Rocky Movies, Kickboxer, Universal Soldier, Bloodsport, Commando, Predator, Demolition Man, it's crazy to think how lucky we were.



You had movies that were not blockbusters like Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, Casino, Trainspotting, Leon, True Romance, Jackie Brown, Snatch, Lock Stock, Hot Fuzz, Shaun Of The Dead, again you just don't get them movies anymore. I was born in 1984, so I didn't get to see them great movies of the 70s and 80s in the cinema or appreciate them at the time as I was too young. I honestly wish I had been born earlier, to have been able to experience them movies when they were released would of been epic. I did get to see them as I got older and wow so many great movies to see in the 70/80/90 and 2000s, you honestly couldn't get enough, I had so much to watch and just couldn't believe how many great movies there was to see. So that's why we get annoyed and are unhappy with movies today, as we were all use to getting tons of great movies every year.



Just look at the horrors like Nightmare Elm Street, Halloween, Friday 13th, Dawn Of The Dead, Scream, Friday 13th, Hellraiser etc, how many great horror franchises we were spoilt with. You don't even get great comedies anymore like Home Alone, Mrs Doubtfire, Twins, Liar Liar, Cable Guy, Dumb And Dumber, American Pie, Ace Ventura etc etc. So you had a crazy period of great movies and past 10 plus years it's been hit and miss and just not exciting anymore. People say the same about Music, which I obviously understand, you have 60 plus years of movies and music, so at some point you are going to get to a period where you run out of ideas and it's already been done and leaves hardly anything for anybody else to do today. So I don't know the answer but they need to lay of the over use of CGI and green screens and start putting effort in to movies and making them like they use to, when it seemed like they cared.

I agree with everything you said in this episode, except for your comment on JK Rowling. She came into conflict with some of the stars of the HP movies because she took a stand against trans people going into what should be the private spaces of the sex they claim to be rather that the sex they were born into. She has been very clear that she has no issue with gay people. Hell she has no issue with trans people unless a man claiming to be a woman insists on coming into a women’s bathroom or locker room. And she is someone who is no longer a billionaire because she donated so much of her wealth to charitable causes. The 3 main HP actors climbed on a bandwagon that would get them lots of adulation and positive “clicks”. JK took a stand and has stuck by it through a great deal of controversy and negative publicity, but the facts, based on scientific studies are coming out in her side. Hell, she even has said she has no issue with trans people so long as they don’t invade women’s privacy.

I have acted in a fee small productions and it's incredibly boring. You shoot the same scene over and over again. It's tedious. I think that's why most actors are kinds stupid. You have to be able to tolerate that day after day.
