The question is why in the US in 50s an everage CEO earned 20 times more than an average factory worker.
And today it is 300 times more. And soon it will be 400 times more.

Why rich are getting richer and poor are getting (proportionally) poorer.

Poverty exist because people are lazy, stupid, or both. They don't work enough to meet their needs, or they spend their money so stupidly it doesn't meet their needs.

In a sense we don't need to stop capitalism, but make more of it.

Poverty is due to a very deep state of victim consciousness, which many are raised with and pick up by osmosis. It’s difficult to break out of as many never do, living life the way the were unconsciously ‘taught’ to. Since like energies attract, the majority of this raised in this remain stuck in it, while a smaller percentage get fed up and find their way out of… but it’s all about consciousness and mindset!

Poverty is inaction, wealth is action. Poverty doesn't happen, wealth does.

TLDR corruption. It doesn't matter what system you use. Its always been this way. the main problem is the punishments for the corrupt are not heavy enough to deter this common human behavior. We will always have upper middle and lowers "classes" but when money is easier to accumulate through normal productive working means it lifts everyone up. Gaps don't close, the bottom get and have more quality of life things to enjoy.

Everything you stated is true, however, the staggering rise in prosperity began with the discovery of inexpensive reliable energy - fossil fuels. This allowed societies that embraced the things you discussed to become wealthy and successful.

We assume that "poverty" just means "not having money," but it now also includes "having a low standard of living." In this light, it appears that America has very little poverty, except for the drugged-out "concrete campers."

This should be required viewing in every high school. But the political left - which includes most teachers - find it an inconvenient truth best kept secret, for fear their audiences might start asking awkward questions.

This is absolutely excellent material, but a legitimate question could be asked about why, given all our wealth, we don't build the same types of beautiful structures we did in our past? We should have more than ever, but the structures we treasure the most are typically hundreds of years old...mostly religious, but also government structures, museums, castles, banks, and even stores or practical structures. Much more beautiful...modern materials are certainly practical and highly available/affordable, but they don't have the appeal by a long shot.

This question reflects the underlying fundamentals of all political thought. One mentality sees famine, pestilence, poverty, war, chaos, ect... as the natural state. It asks how do we construct & maintain systems that build-up mankind from this state.
The other mentality sees all the good things in life as normal, and claims people have a "right" to them, justifying state power to achieve this end.

Rich people broke laws used violence and then consolidated. Part of that consolidation is to then have governments fund them and bail them out when they fucjed up at scale unlike the rest of us. How many were jailed or went out of business that were big in 2009. Were homeowners bailed out? No. Two tiers of law. Two accesses of lawful protection. Two accesses to have favorable laws written, contracts awarded, consolidation institutionalized. And the only instrument that has the balance of power to correct is corrupted. And you want to say it is just lazy tears 😭

Jesus told us, "The poor will always be with you." Poverty is yet another challenge in life to be overcome.
Yes, it can be very difficult to do this but it is essential that people who are poor do it anyway, if they want
to have a decent life. Earning what we get in life has enormous benefits, not only to society, but to the
individuals who accomplish it.
